Zambia: Internet Demand On Rise - Zamtel

THERE has been a significant increase in demand for internet services among customers as more people adopt Work-from-Home strategies in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, Zamtel chief commercial officer Chibeza Ngoma has said.

Many organisations both private and public in Zambia have asked their non-essential workers to work from home in line with Ministry of Health guidelines.

Mr Ngoma said the rise in the number of people staying and working from home had pushed demand for internet services mainly among residential customers.
