Angola: COVID-19 - President Extends State of Emergency

Luanda — President João Lourenço Thursday in Luanda ordered the extension of the State of Emergency in force in the country for another 15 days.

The State of Emergency had been declared on 25 March by President João Lourenço, being effective from 00h00 of 27 March to 23h59 of 11 April (Saturday), in line with the Constitution.

With the extension just announced, the period of exception will go from 00h00 of 11-25 April this year.
