Zambia: Sports Bodies Not Keen On OYDC Re-Opening

The intended move by OYDC Zambia Development Centre to reopen the facility to host non-contact sports activities has received strong reactions.

On Monday OYDC- Zambia chief executive officer Fred Chitangala said the institution will consult the Ministries of Health and Sport including the Sports Council of Zambia (SCZ) as well as the National Olympic Committee (NOC) on steps to be taken to resume some sports activities which did not involve physical contact.
