Zambia: COVID-19 Tally Jumps To 153

Seven new cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) were reported yesterday, taking the national cumulative total to 153, with the Government stressing the need for enhanced personal hygiene in combating the pandemic.

Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya used the briefing to urge members of the public to take extra care of themselves with the cold season now on.

He warned that the coronavirus was known to thrive in low temperatures, saying people with underlying conditions and the aged remained at particular risk.
