Zambia: Nakonde New Epicentre

Zambia's COVID-19 epicentre has moved from Lusaka to Nakonde after it was announced that 76 out of the 85 new cases reported yesterday, the largest single-day reporting, came from the border town.

Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya also announced three new COVID-19-related deaths, as number of new cases reported in a day jumped to 85, from the previous high of 14.

This brings the total number of corona-virus-related deaths to seven in 252 accumulative cases which have also seen 112 recoveries.
