Nigeria: Senate, NDDC Bicker Over Alleged Inflation of Commission's Budget

Abuja — The Senate and the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) bickered yesterday over alleged inclusion of projects worth N80 billion in the commission's 2019 Budget by the National Assembly without the consent of the executive.

The Executive Director, Projects (EDP) of NDDC, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, had made the allegations yesterday while featuring on The Morning Show, a programme on ARISE NEWS Channel, the broadcast arm of THSIDAY Newspapers.
