Angola: COVID-19 - Angola With 71 Positive Case

Luanda — Angola reported Tuesday another positive case of Covid-19, bringing to 71 the number of infections.

The data were released by Health minister Sílvia Lutukuta, stating that the case is related to a two-month-old baby, living in the neighborhood Hoji Ya Henda, municipality of Cazenga.

Hoji Ya Henda is one of the two neighborhoods in the province of Luanda under the sanitary fence, after Futungo de Belas.

According to the minister, who was speaking at a press conference, the case is under investigation, due to the fact that the mother tests negative, despite living with positive cases.

Thus, Angola has 71 positive cases, with four deaths, 18 recovered and 49 active people receiving medical treatment.

Sílvia Lutucuta said that, of the laboratory tests carried out, 7, 580 tested negative and 71 positive, with 731 being processed.

The minister pointed out that 1,0 92 people are observing institutional quarantine.
