Angola: COVID-19 - Seven New Cases , Two Deaths

Luanda — Seven new positive cases of covid-19 and two deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours in Angola, bringing the total to 291 and 15, respectively.

This was said Wednesday evening in Luanda by the secretary of State for Public Health, during the usual covid-19 update briefing with journalists.

Franco Mufinda said the positive cases are locally transmitted infections involving people in treatment centres.

With these new cases, the number of infections with unknown links remain 43, while those locally transmitted rose to 212.

There are currently in Angola 291 positive cases of covid-19, 15 deaths, 97 recoveries and 179 active patients.
