Nigeria: COVID-19 - 20 States Slash Budget By U.S.$10,2 Billion

Abuja, Damaturu, Abakalik, Makurdi, Ado-Ekiti, Port Harcourt, Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Jos, Owerri, Bauchi, Asaba — Many state governments across the country have reviewed their budgets for 2020 to reflect the new economic realities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, findings by Daily Trust show.

About 20 states have slashed a total of N1.4 trillion from their initial budgets.
