Liberia: Rep. Dopoh Wants SOE Revoked

River Gee County district #3 Representative Francis Dopoh is calling on President George M. Weah to revoke the State of Emergency because it has passed the deadline set by the Constitution to be approved by the 54th Legislature.

According to him, the Constitution of Liberia should take its course because the execution of the SOE is purely constitutional and Article 88 is very clear that upon the declaration of the State of Emergency, the President has seven days to submit same to the Legislature.
