Tunis/Tunisia — The olive oil produced in Teboursouk was registered, for the first time, as a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), by the Lisbon System for the International Registration of Appellations of Origin.

This brand is internationally registered within the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) under the number 1150 on March 3, 2020, the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries said in a statement.

The ministry said it received correspondence from the WIPO office in Geneva, Switzerland on July 8, regarding this designation.
