Tunisia: New CEOs in TRAPSA and SERGAZ Appointed

Tunis/Tunisia — The Ministry of Energy, Mines and Energy Transition, on Thursday, announced the appointment of Hazem Yahyaoui as chairman and CEO of the Saharan Pipeline Transportation Company (TRAPSA).

Yahyaoui served as the Director-General of Hydrocarbons in the Energy Department. He was also former Deputy Director-General of the National Company of Oil Distribution (French: SNDP). He was replaced by Rachid Ben Dali.

Likewise, Moncef Mattoussi has been appointed as CEO of the Trans-Tunisian Gas Pipeline Service Company (SERGAZ), replacing Faisal El Hafien.

Mr. Mattoussi worked as the CEO of the Tunisian Company of Petroleum Activities (French: ETAP) and also as the CEO of SNDP and then TRAPSA, before this new appointment.
