Tunisia: Fakhfakh Receives Unicef Representative At End of Her Mission to Tunisia

Tunis/Tunisia — Caretaker Prime Minister Elyès Fakhfakh received on Friday, Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Office in Tunisia Lilia Peters, at the end of her mission to Tunisia.

According to a Prime Ministry press release, Fakhfakh laid emphasis during the meeting, on the interest that Tunisia lends to the issues of children, which are, he specified, the pillars of society and the engine of the future."

Spokesperson for the government Asma Shiri pointed out that the meeting had offered the opportunity to highlight UNICEF's efforts in Tunisia and its projects that have contributed to enrich the child protection systems in the country.
