Tunis/Tunisia — Producer Dorra Bouchoucha has been picked as one of the members of the International Jury of the "Luigi De Laurentiis" Prize by the organisers of the 77th edition of the Venice Film Festival, scheduled for September 2-12, in Venice, Italy.

This prize, also called Lion of the Future, is named after the film producer Luigi De Laurentiis (1917-1992).
Since 1999, it has been awarded for the best first film of all the sections of the Venice Film Festival.
Dorra Bouchoucha will be the only woman on the jury of this competition and will sit alongside two directors.
The jury of the "Luigi De Laurentiis" Prize will be chaired this year by the Italian Claudio Giovannesi, director, screenwriter in addition to French Remi Bonhomme, director and organiser of international festivals, as a member.
Dorra Bouchoucha is the producer of several Tunisian and foreign films within the framework of her company Nomadis Images, which she created in 1995. Several of her films were selected in prestigious festivals such as Venice, Cannes and Berlin.
