Angola: Teachers Join Covid-19 Awareness Campaigns in Northern Zaire

Mbanza Kongo — Several teachers in Mbanza Kongo municipality, northern Zaire province, have expressed willingness to join public awareness campaigns about the covid-19, which since Friday has affected this part of the Angolan territory.

This was expressed to Angop by teachers, following the report of nine positive cases in the "Kwanda" Petroleum Industry Support Base in Soyo city, so as to better take advantage of the halt of the school classes taking place nationwide due to the pandemic.

For the university lecturer, Mpanzo Daniel, there is still a neglect on the part of the population in the region in strict compliance with the biosecurity measures established by the health authorities to contain the disease.
