Angola: Covid-19 - Angolan Creates Ultraviolet Device to Eliminate Bacteria

Luanda — The Angolan engineer Rui Santos on Wednesday said he has created a ultraviolet ray-based equipment that eliminates microorganisms.

The equipment, based on ultraviolet rays, has already been used by the drinking water producer company Gota Pura since 2012 for water treatment in Angola.

According to Rui Santos, who was speaking to the Angolan Public Television (TPA), the equipment will also serve to combat the new coronavirus.

"The goal is not only to serve the domestic market. The market is global, and our limit will be the limit of demand," he said.
