Angola: Covid-19 - Event Promoters Meet Via Video Conference

Luanda — Event promoters meet on Thursday via videoconference to seek solutions for self-sustainability after being prevented to organize mass cultural events, due to the covid-19 that has ravaged Angola since March, ANGOP has learnt.

The aim of the event is to discuss, raise awareness and find solutions for event organizers and the general public regarding the pandemic situation in the country, through a series of lives streaming during August 6, 13, 20 and 27, under the aegis of promoter Meraki.

"With the outbreak of Covid-19, one of the sectors that has suffered most is the events. Factors such as social distance and mobility limitations have proved lethal for a sector that employs thousands of professionals", the organizers said.
