Angola: Victims of Violence Assisted At Integrated Support Center

Luanda — Children and citizens victim of violence are since Thursday receiving assistance at Luanda's Talatona municipality Center for Integrated Support to Victim of Violence (CAIVVITA).

The center, recently inaugurated, is part of the local development and poverty alleviation programme and serves present residents or by telephone.

The center has terminals for telephone complaints, in addition to 15015, for free use, and the numbers 937901490 and 99638381 are anonymous and confidential.

The center is designed to provide a response service to cases of violence through specialized services such as the police, social welfare and health services.
