Angola: Covid-19 - Physical Exercise Schedule Extended

Luanda — The physical exercises in public space can be performed from 5 to 8pm, individually or with a group of five people, informed Saturday, the Minister of State and Head of the Civil House of the President of the Republic, Adão de Almeida.

In the last 30 days, the physical practice took place from 05h30 to 07h30 and from 17h00 to 19h00.

According to Adão de Almeida, who presented the new measures adopted by the Angolan Government in the scope of combat and prevention against Covid-19, during the physical activity the wearing of the mask is not required.

Regarding the gymnasiums, which are still closed in Luanda, he pointed out that those who violate this ban will pay a fine ranging from 10 to 15 thousand kwanzas.

The new measures adopted by the Angolan government will take effect between 10 September and 8 September this year.
