Angola: Journalist Edgar Cunha Remains Laid to Rest in Portugal

Lisbon — The former journalist of the Angolan Public Television (TPA) Edgar Cunha, who died on August 5 in Lisbon victim of illness, was buried on Saturday in the cemetery of Póvoa de Santo Adrião, in Lisbon, Portugal.

The burial which despite the restrictions imposed by Covid-19 was witnessed by relatives, friends, journalists, Angolan diplomats and TPA's marketing manager, Nadir Ferreira.

Edgar Cunha, who was 58 years old, joined the staff of TPA in 1988, having stood out as news editor. He also worked as press attaché in the Diplomatic Mission of Angola to the Republic of Cuba, between 2011 and 2015.
