Angola Committed to Training for Young People

Luanda — Angolan government is committed to training schemes and creation of conditions to ensure the participation of young people in the society, the minister of Youth and Sports has said.

Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto was speaking at the opening of the Support programme for economic guidance to young entrepreneurs and cooperatives on Wednesday.

She said that it was crucial to guide and monitor the young people in order to prevent early bankruptcies.

This entails to boost them in terms of management, market and other sectors most likely to attain success and investment.

The minister recalled that the world is hit by an unprecedented crisis as a result of the new coronavirus pandemic with social and economic losses for the populations.

"This situation requires proactive attitude that ensures the capacity to face in a normal way the pandemic despite the huge change the way people live around the world", highlighted the minister.

The event ran under the motto "Youth engagement for global action".
