South Africa: Woman Arrested for Possession and Dealing in Drugs

A 38-year-old woman was arrested during an intelligence driven operation that was conducted by Lusikisiki Public Order Policing members in Lusikisiki CBD yesterday at about 12:45.

The woman was arrested after she was found in possession of 85 Boss Mandrax tablets, 27 dagga sachets, 34 pipes for smoking dagga, 0.35g loose dagga and a cash amount of R193-00.

She will be caused to appear before Lusikisiki Magistrate Court today.

"We thank and appreciate the support from our communities in assisting us with information. Let's report and root out our society those who kill our youth with these drugs," said the District Commissioner Major General David Kanuka.
