Uganda Gets U.S.$130 Million From World Bank for Roadworks

The World Bank on Thursday approved a $130 million grant to Uganda for road infrastructure in the West Nile sub-region. The region hosts the bulk of South Sudanese and Congolese refugees.

In a statement on September 10, the World Bank said that its Board of Directors had approved the grant, to be financed through the International Development Association's 18th window for host communities and refugees project.
