Angola: Covid-19 - Portugal Tap Flights Back to Luanda Monday

Luanda — Portugal Airline (TAP) resumes its commercial flights to Luanda (Angola) from Lisbon (Portugal) from September 21, at a time Angola officially re-opens the air space to international flights, after it gave green light to domestic flights on 14th this month.

In its statement, quoted by the website "Ver Angola", TAP announced flights stopovers to Luanda on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with departure at 01:00 pm and return at 11:20pm, due to the biosafety measures.

The resumption plan of operations, which covers commercial flights to Luanda, will always be adjusted according to the circumstances.

The move is intended to respond to ongoing pace and restrictions imposed by various countries and markets, due to to covid-19", says the statement.

On the other hand, the Angolan Airline (TAAG) starts its international operations next Tuesday 22 September, according to the Presidential Decree nº 229/20 of 08 September on the extension of the Public Calamity Situation in the country.
