Nigeria: Investors Lose N40 Billion in Equities Market

Lagos — The equities market opened the week negative investors lost ₦40.7 billion as market capitalisation declined to ₦14.8trillion while year to date return worsened to 5.6 per cent.

The All-Share Index lost 0.3 percent due to sell-offs in MTNN (-0.4percent), BUA Cement (-1.5percent) and Flourmill (-4.5percent) to close at 28,337.49 points.
