Angola: 19,000 Jobs Created in Last Months - President

Luanda — At least 19,000 jobs have been created in last months by the companies and employment centers, announced Thursday the Angolan president of the Republic João Lourenço.

João Lourenço, who was delivering speech on the State of the Nation at the National Assembly, to mark the opening of the Parliamentary year, revealed that at least 7000 workers were made redundant, due to Covid-19 pandemic.

The president's stocktaking speech covered several sectors of national life.
