The 25th Annual Board meeting of the Partners in Population and Development (PPD), unanimously elected the Republic of South Africa represented by the Minister of Social Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, to serve as its new Chairperson for a three-year term (2021-2023).
The elective PPD Board meeting took place virtually due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. Until recently, Minister Zulu served as the Secretary of the PPD's Board.
