Kenya: Aisha Jumwa, Okuto Freed on Bail After Denying Murder Charge

Mombasa — Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa and her bodyguard Geoffrey Okuto, a co-suspect in a murder case, were Friday released on Sh4 million and Sh1.5mn cash bail respectively after spending four nights in police custody in relation to an active murder case.

The two denied a murder charge on Thursday when the were arraigned in court and subsequently sought to be released on bail.
