Nigeria: Buhari Felicitates With Oba of Lagos At 77

Abuja — President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday spoke with Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwanu Akiolu, as he celebrated his 77th birthday.

The Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Garba Shehu, in a statement said, the President conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes to the Lagos monarch on the occasion of his 77th birthday when he called the royal father.

Buhari also commiserated with the monarch on the recent episode of violence that led to the losses of life and property in Lagos.

The President recalled his long association and friendship with the Oba and appreciated the personal role he has played in nurturing the peace and development of Lagos state and nation as a whole.
