Parliament — The Departed Asians Properties Custodian Board (DAPCB) has failed to dispose of at least 2,015 properties that remained in the hands of government after their original proprietors never returned to repossess them, it has been revealed.
Members of Parliamnet (MPs) on the taskforce formed by the committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (Cosase) say many of these properties are in a dilapidated state and may be demolished.
