opinion

The National Bank of Ethiopia announced its decision to close all banks in the Tigray region on account of signs of looting on banks in the region.

Upon revealing the presence of 616 branches of all banks in the region, the central bank stated that the attempts to rob banks are inappropriate measures that equate to looting the wealth of people who have saved with the banks.
