South Africa: Minister Zweli Mkhize Confirms 2,563 More Cases of Covid-19

As of today, the cumulative total of COVID-19 cases is 787 702 with 2 563 new cases identified since the last report.

Regrettably, 38 more COVID-19 related deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 17, Gauteng 1, Northern Cape 7 and Western Cape 13. This brings the total deaths to 21 477 deaths.

We extend our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the healthcare workers that treated the deceased patients.
