Angola to Register Two Million Properties Until 2025

Luanda — Angola has announced plans for registration of 2.8 million properties across the country until 2025.

The initiative was announced by the minister of Justice and Human Rights, Francisco Queiroz, on Friday in Luanda.

The minister announced so at 5th monthly meeting to take stock of Dissemination Programme of Birth Registration and handover Identity Card, started in November 2019.

The official said that the process for the legal regularisation of the housing started in January 2020, as part of Dissemination Programme of the Real Estate Registration Process.

The initiative is based on the experience of the Dissemination Programme of Birth Registration and handover Identity Card.

So far, 1.8 million have already benefitted from birth registration and 949,890 others issued the identity cards.
