Angola: Girabola2020/21 - Caála, Interclube Draw With 2 Goals

Caála — Recreativo da Caála and Interclube had a 2-2 draw last Sunday afternoon, in central Huambo Province , in a match for the third round of the First Division National Football Championship (Girabola2020/21).

The match was played at the Recreativo da Caála stadium and was marked by several mistakes from the home team, despite a certain balance of the game.

Interclube scored the first goal by Mano in the eighth minute, in the rebound of an incomplete defence by goalkeeper Beny, after a free kick in the area, executed by Paty.

With the goal conceded, the home team organized their offensive system, betting on combined moves and mid-range shots.

As a result of this avalanche, Caála came to a draw in the 29th minute, by Dopó, following an insistent attack move.

From then on, the Caala team started to have a slight dominance in the field, but their forwards did not have the genius to make goals in the few attacks situations created.

In the second half, David Dias, Caala's coach, made his players have a braver performance, but the lack of aim in the last minutes of the first half prevailed until the 70th minute, when central back player Jó broke the equalizer with a header.

The response from Interclube was not long in coming, Dasfáa, in an insistent play, equalized the score on 77th minutes.

Until the end of the game, the performance of both teams was marked by ups and downs.

In the next round, Recreativo da Caála, third place, with five points, will travel to Benguela to meet the local Williete, while Interclube, sixth, with four points, receive Progresso do Sambizanga.
