Tunisia: New Record for Coronavirus Infection - 3,632 Cases in 24 Hours

Tunis/Tunisia — 3,632 additional coronavirus infections were reported on January 12 until 11 pm, out of a total of 12,453 tests carried out.

On the same day, 72 additional deaths were recorded, bringing the death toll to 5,415. A total of 168,568 confirmed cases have been registered, including 122,775 recoveries after 1,776 people recovered.

According to the latest report of the Ministry of Health published Wednesday evening, 1,805 patients with COVID-19 were hospitalised including 364 in intensive care and 128 put on ventillators in the public and private sectors, for a total of 61 additional patients in 24 hours.
