Tunis/Tunisia — Tunisia's handball team were defeated by Polish counterpart 28-30 (half-time 17-17) at 2021 World Men's Handball Championship: (Gr B/day-1) (January 13-31), played Friday evening at the New Capital Sports Hall in Cairo.

Mosbah Sanai was the top scorer of the Carthage Eagles with 9 goals ahead of Amine Darmoul (6 goals) and Jihed Jaballah (5 goals).
