Morocco: 17 Pupils Slightly Injured in Road Accident in Settat - Local Authorities

Rabat — Seventeen students were slightly injured in a road accident that occurred Thursday in the commune of Oulad Sghir, located 20 kilometers from Settat, according to local authorities in the province of Settat.

The accident occurred after a school bus, with 28 students on board, collided with two grand taxis (inter-city cabs), the same source said.

Local authorities as well as elements of the Gendarmerie Royale and of Civil Protection proceeded to the scene to provide first aid and evacuate the injured to the Settat regional hospital for treatment.

A probe has been launched by the relevant authorities to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
