Angola: General Chilingutila Dies

Luanda — The former vice-minister of Defense for Material Resources, a retired general, Demósthenes Amós Chilingutila died Sunday in one of the hospital units of Huambo province, victim of illness, ANGOP learnt from a family source.

In a note, the president of UNITA Adalberto Costa Júnior addressed on his name and on the behalf of the members, supporters and friends of the party the most heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

According to the document, in the next few hours, details of the funeral program for Chilingutila, a member of UNITA´s Political Commission and the Presidential Council of this party, will be provided.
