Tunisia: Aspa-Arab Referendum - Ali Maaloul and Wahbi Khazri Nominated

Tunis/Tunisia — Tunisian internationals Ali Maaloul (Al Ahly of Egypt) and Wahbi Khazri (AS Saint-Etienne, France) were among the nominees for the recpective titles of best Arab player in the Arab championships and best expatriate player 2020, awarded following the annual referendum of Arab soccer stars organised by the Arab Sports Press Association (ASPA).

. Prize for Best Arab Soccer Player in Arab championships:

Sofiène Rahimi (Morocco/Raja Casablanca), Ali Maaloul (Tunisia/Al Ahly of Egypt), Hassine Chahhat (Egypt/Al Ahly of Egypt), Akram Afif (Qatar/Al-Sadd), Baghdad Boundjah (Algeria/Al-Sadd), Omar Al-Souma (Syria/Ahly Jeddah), Soltane Al-Anizi (Kuwait/Al Qadissya), Salem Al Dossari (S. Arabia/Al Hilal saoudien), Mohamed Daoud (Irak/Iraqi Al Naft), Salah Rateb (Jordan/Jordanian Al Wahadet), Mahmoud Al Wadi (Palestine/Pyramids of Egypt), Ali Mabkhout (Emirates/AL Jazira), Hassan Maatouq (Lebanon/Al-Ansar).

Mohamed Salah (Egypt/Liverpool), Achraf Hakimi (Morocco/Inter Milan), Riadh Mehrez (Algaria/Manchester City), Yassine Bounou (Morocco/FC Seville), Ismail Bennaceur (Algeria/AC Milan), Wahbi Khazri (Tunisia/AS Saint-Etienne), Mohamed Elnenni (Egypt/Arsenal), Justin Meram (Iraq/Real Salt Lake, MLS).

. Prize of Best Arab Club:
