Liberia: Man, 54, Father of 12 Children, Hangs Himself in Wee District

Grand Bassa — Several citizens in Wee District could not withhold their tears after the lifeless body of a 54-year-old man identified as James Mardin, was discovered dangling on a rope at his residence.

Family sources told FrontPageAfrica that the incident occurred on the morning of Wednesday, February 17, in Gbaynee's Town, Wee Statutory District, Grand Bassa County.

According to reports, a family member who had gone to see him raised the alarm after he was discovered hanging on a rope by informing the community leader, who informed the police.

The Crime Services Division (CSD) of the Liberian National Police (LNP), upon arrival setup a 15-man coronal juror to conduct search on the victim's corpse.

The jurors' report after the vigorous search indicated that there was no foul played on the corpse of the victim.
