Tunis/Tunisia — Tunisian students in Russia could resume classes next April, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad announced Saturday.
"The competent Russian authorities have informed us that the universities are willing to welcome foreign students very soon," the MFA said in a statement, adding that the exact date will be set later and that it would probably be April 2021.
The Ministry also said it was "following closely with the Tunisian Embassy in Moscow the issue of Tunisian students enrolled in Russian universities" after the decision of the Russian authorities to close their borders following the expansion of COVID-19, «to allow them to resume classes under the best conditions".
