Nigeria: Fire Ravages 200 Hectares of Cocoa, Kolanut Plantations in Ekiti

The Ekiti State Management Emergency Agency (SEMA) has lamented that cocoa and kolanut farms covering over 200 hectares of land have been destroyed by fire in some towns recognised as cocoa belt of the state this dry season.

The fire disaster occurred at Ikoro and Iloro communities in Ijero Local Government Area of the state.
