Nigeria: Senate Seeks Establishment of Hospital to Treat Leprosy, Skin Cancer

The Senate Wednesday considered a bill seeking to revive an international hospital that would specifically focus on the treatment of leprosy, skin cancer and other skin-related diseases.

The National Dermatology (Specialist) Hospital Bill, 2021, which scaled second reading during plenary, was sponsored by Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (APC, Adamawa Central).
