Zambia: Three File Notice to Discontinue Case Against State's Seizure of Lusaka Houses

TANZANIAN Uziel Bashire and two others who claim to own the infamous 48 houses in Lusaka have filed a notice to discontinue the case against the State in the Lusaka High Court.

They had sued the State seeking an order of declaration that Mr Bashire is the legitimate owner of the structures in Chalala area.

"Take notice that the plaintiffs herein, being desirous to discontinue this suit in whole against the defendant, have this day of the notice discontinued the matter," a notice of discontinuance filed yesterday states.
