Tunisia: President Saied Extends Ramadan Wishes to Tunisian People

Tunis/Tunisia — President Kais Saied went, on Monday evening, to Zitouna Mosque where he delivered a speech in which he extended his wishes to all Tunisians and Muslims around the world, on the advent of the Holy month of Ramadan.

In this speech, the Head of State stressed the noble values of Islam in general and fasting in particular, calling on Tunisians to promote the principles of solidarity and mutual aid during this holy month.

In the same context, President Saied called on the authorities to confront speculators, praying Almighty God to protect Tunisians against the coronavirus pandemic and other "political epidemics", according to him.

Besides, Kaîs Saied talked with a group of faithful about intellectual, economic and social topics.
