Tunisia: Covid-19 - 39 Fatalities and 1,079 Infections Reported On April 11

Tunis/Tunisia — 39 COVID-19 fatalities were reported on April 11, taking the death toll in Tunisia to 9,332 since the outbreak of the pandemic on March 2020, the Health Ministry said Monday evening in its daily report on the epidemiological situation in the country.

1,079 infections were also recorded from 5,238 conducted tests, bringing the caseload to 272,940.

Recoveries rose by 1,163 hitting 226,070.

2,105 COVID-19 patients were hospitalised in public and private health facilities, 415 of whom in intensive care units and 139 under ventilators, the ministry added.
