Tunisia: UGTT Decides to Postpone All Trade Union Activities in Prevention Against Coronavirus

Tunis/Tunisia — The Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) announced the postponement of all trade union activities (public meetings, conferences, seminars, regional councils and administrative committees) to a later date as a preventive measure against the coronavirus and to stem its spread. In a note sent to all trade union structures, the UGTT said that this decision, which had been made by the Executive Bureau meeting on Monday, given the exceptional health situation the country is going through and the surge in the number of infections.
