Tunisia: Covid-19 - Gabes Sees Surge in Infections

Tunis/Tunisia — The Gabes governorate reported 2 more COVID-19 fatalities on Monday, taking the death toll to 338 since the outbreak of the pandemic.

73 further infections were recorded from 173 conducted tests, bringing the tally to 10,983, including 10,024 recoveries, according to statistics released by the local health directorate.

The region currently counts 957 virus carriers, Local health director Yahia Hamdi stated to TAP.
