Kenya: MP Moses Kuria Fined Sh75,000 for Flouting Covid-19 Rules

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was on Tuesday fined by a Kiambu court for violating Covid-19 rules.

Mr Kuria was arrested alongside 10 other people on Monday for gathering in an entertainment joint during curfew hours. They spent the night at Karuri Police Station.

Sources told the Nation that the politician and his politicians held the meeting to plan on the upcoming by-election in Juja where Mr Kuria's party has fielded a candidate.
