South Africa: Two Suspects Including Learner Arrested

Two suspects including a learner between the ages of 20 and 30 years were arrested at Ntsume locality on Tuesday, 13 April 2021.

The arrest was a result of a 72 hour activation response plan put to action after a case of arson was registered at a Junior Secondary school situated at Ntsume locality that was burnt on Sunday, 11 April 2021.

Police followed information and today, two suspects including a grade 12 learner were arrested and school grocery was recovered in their possession.

Both suspects were detained facing charges of arson and business robbery and expected to appear before Tsomo Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 15 April 2021.
